ABOUT
2019 Title 24 Building Energy Standards for Residential & Nonresidential Buildings took effect on 01/01/2020 and included numerous changes. The 2019 Title 24 Building Energy Standards will be more stringent than prior versions as we move closer to ZNE. They are intended to reduce peak energy consumption and slow the growth in demand for electricity and natural gas in California.
