NECA San Diego
The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) was established in 1901 to promote sound business practices and technical excellence within the electrical construction industry. The San Diego Chapter of NECA was chartered in 1942 and currently represents more than 100 union, signatory electrical contractors. The chapter is governed by an elected Board of Directors and supported by a full-time professional staff.
In addition to contractor members, NECA San Diego includes Associate Members. Associate Members are firms that provide products or services to the electrical industry but are not electrical contractors.

NECA is the voice of the nearly $300 billion electrical construction industry that brings power, light and communication technology to buildings and communities across the U.S. NECA contractors are the technical professionals responsible for the most innovative, highest quality and safest electrical construction in the U.S.
The Organization
NECAβs national office in Washington DC, four regional offices, and 119 local chapters across the country support the electrical contracting industry through advocacy, education, research and standards development.
NECA chapters are independently chartered organizations who work with national field representatives to develop effective labor agreements and market initiatives.
